As an occupational therapist, one of my guiding principles is to seek to understand the things that are meaningful and matter to you. My job is to meet you where you are and support you in getting to where you want to be. OT can support you by identifying the things you want to do and need to do and what things are getting in the way.
I take a holistic, strengths-based approach with a focus on honoring and celebrating the things that make you uniquely you. As an OT, I specialize in seeing the world through a sensory lens and supporting awareness and understanding of sensory processing. I’ve had my share of ‘ah-ha’ sensory moments and recognize the importance of understanding our own unique sensory profiles and how we can apply that knowledge to support overall health and well-being.
